WehavestudiedthetemperaturedependenceoftheinternalfrictionandYoung’s modulusoftheFe–28Mn–6Si–5Cr–0.53Nb–0.06C(mass%) alloyswithorwithoutNbCprecipitatesproducedbythreethermomechanical treatments:(i)solutiontreatment,(ii)rollingat870Kandsubsequent agingat1070K,and(iii)rollingat1070K,inthevicinityoftheforward(Ms)andthe reverse(As)martensitictransformationtemperaturesusing adynamicmechanicalanalyzer(DMA).
